Generation Medics in Essex

Our Anchor Programme connects the NHS in Mid and South Essex with the local community, supporting long-term sustainability

What is the Anchor Programme?

Anchoring the NHS in our local community

The NHS and its staff in Mid and South Essex are committed to making a positive impact that’s bigger than what they do in their day-to-day jobs as NHS Heroes.

To help our colleagues do just that, we’ve partnered up with Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust and their respective hospitals!

Our programme is connecting them with the local communities they live in and serve in a different way – supporting them to tackle bigger problems like social mobility and unemployment by inspiring the next generation to believe they can succeed in whatever path they choose, and improving wider social determinants of health.
